i think ocip is 95% confirmed already. unless of course suddenly got one pig with swine flu run loose in the city and go crazy and spread to everybody. lol. otherwise, it will just go ahead.
heats yesterday was HOT. why hot, because we, edouard hanif caroline debbie carl and a few others have to sit while the sun was shining right in our faces to be TIMEKEEPERS. =D it was quite fun cos all the pe teachers were like, oi, time keepers important, dont disturb time keeper and were chasing everyone away from our area, makes us feel important sia hahaha. anyway, GOOD JOB T31! we improved so much. i think if got value-added award we sure get one. congrats on azman for getting bronze in 1.5km! and the girls and guys in the 800 medley and 4X100 girls!
today was THINK CAREER DAY. and it really made me think though. Banking&Finance -> Information Technology -> Business&Entrepreunership -> NUS School of Business -> Booth Visits -> NUS Design&Environment. the last one made me snore -_- really had no interest in that. arvin edmund vera and i were literally knocked out. i think it was really more of DESIGN than ENVIRONMENT because we went there hoping for more stuff on the technology of the environment i think. went to LT6 to meet the class for a survey thingy with sandra tan for the last session. so far, it really made me think a lot for my own career. career aside, it made me think MORE about my university route. after getting so much inspiration today, it suddenly made me so inspired to get good grades. afterall, i know my grades arent good at all.
anyway, i still wanna aim for NUS business. second aim, is for NUS computing. and at during the booth visits, edmund and i were sucked into so many 'vortexes' like, u know, marketing strategies haha. and both of us signed up to be
pilots while getting persuaded by siyuan huixin and the guy at the booth haha. i mean, its really really cool if we get to become a pilot, but the requirements are tough. need to go through 2 tests, 1 medical exam, and an approx of 6months to a year of training, and if u fail, u have to go back to the army to serve NS all over again. but u get to keep the allowances during the training. PILOT! zoom zoom.
the entrepreunership talk was good too. had some insight into how people start businesses from virtually ALMOST nothing at all, only their brains. like, wah, half a million with just a starter of 90+ bucks. amazing. or, azmanzing..
back to reality boy. GP and physics midyears in about a weeks time and h2s in about a months time. time for the action to begin.
anyway, im really looking forward to 2 things now. batam ocip and sports carnival! because i wanna play handball!
these days, i feel like puking, must be a pressence of someone causing it.
