im a dreamer, well, literally. i dream a lot. and INCEPTION rocks. yes, i watched the movie one or two weeks ago. but im gonna think about it now. haha.
first of all, the timings of dreaming, for example, a minute in the real world corressponds to maybe an hour in the dream world, reminds me of itachi's tsukuyomi techinique in naruto lol. just that tsukuyomi's way more powerful(ie. 3 days in a second).
i found a website: http://www.cinemablend.com/new/Inception-Explained-Unraveling-The-Dream-Within-The-Dream-19615.html, explaining so many things i wanted to know about the movie. wow.
imagine, a minute in the real world means an hour in the dream. meaning if u fall off your bed, which takes you about maybe 1 second to fall. you'll experience a few minutes of no gravity in your dream. and if you sleep in a freaking hot and stuffy room for maybe 2 hours. imagine how many days of tropical weather you'll experience in the dream. whao. but that is if you remember the dream anyway. i remember posting something about lucid dreaming some time back. lucid dreaming - a symptom which enables a person to actively control his dreams and remember them. i think its very similar, just that we humans really dont possess much control in our subconcious state theoritically lol.
speaking of dreaming in a dream, i've done that quite a few times. and most of them were weird. i couldnt really remember the contents of the dreams in the dream. in inception language, i could only remember the first level of my dream. the power of inception, planting a simple little idea into a person's mind. making use of the power of the human brain. the power of thought. now THAT's powerful. one little conversation in the movie caught my attention. "if i said to you not to think about elephants, what would you think of? A: elephants." precisely. wow. a simple idea, but it takes so much to notice.
i still vividly remember some of my dreams. the flying one in which i was flying around east coast fighting voldermort. blowing a flute while my family abandoned me. fuck, thinking about them just GIVES ME THE CREEPS. what the hell.
BUT THE THOUGHT OF DREAMING IS STILL TOO UNREAL. how do dreams come about? how can we picture stuff in our minds powerful enough that our "eyes" can see them in our minds? how is it possible that sometimes we even HEAR stuff in our dreams or even smell, or even feel, or wth maybe even TASTE.
logically, i dont think anyone will be able to prove the timing theory of 1minute in the real world is an hour in dreamland. who in the world will be able to tell when they're falling when they're dreaming? who in the world will be able to take note of time in their dreams when time is already a corrupt substance in dreams? no one will ever know how much time we have in a dream when only a minute passes in the real world.
but if ever someone does prove it to be correct and someone really does invent something specially for dreaming, i swear my life that i'll definitely give it a try.
imagine just spending 50 years in a dream only to wake up and find that you've only slept for maybe a day? imagine learning stuff that can take you years to learn in real life but only a few hours while dreaming. imagine doing stuff you'll never do in real life like jumping off a building, flying, killing an enemy, falling in love with a famous actress etc. the tons of things you can ever do while dreaming. if only it were possible.
they say you hardly can remember any dreams you have. but what if someone successfully manages to remember every single thing that has happened while he was dreaming. imagine the ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES of IDEAS and THINGS TO DO.
well, life wouldn't be so boring anymore if everything i typed above turned out to be reality.
